Welcome to the OAS community. As an OAS, you hold a critical and mandatory role at your site, serving as BASF’s first line of defense for automation systems against cyber-attacks and Intellectual Property (IP) theft.

This onboarding course will provide foundational knowledge in both IT and Operational Technology (OT) relevant to your tasks, offering background to connect these crucial areas.

Beyond your site colleagues, your main contacts are your Regional Automation Security Coordinator and myself, as the central coordinator for the OAS community in process automation.
